Resumo do Trabalho

Tensor Networks (TN) provides a useful tool for studying many body systems. We show the basics of TN notations, and cover the most known one-dimensional TN ansatz called Matrix Product States (MPS). We explain how a variational algorithm using this MPS approximation can be developed to obtain the ground state of any one- dimensional first-neighbour interaction Hamiltonian. Then, we calculated the ground state of the Quantum Ising Model (QIM) – a toy model for many Quantum Information works – and study how multipartite entanglement is distributed between particles and partitions. We also cover the analytical solution of the QIM, and give a small step toward calculating the ground state on the space of qubits.
