Professor Adjunto do Departamento de Física da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). Possui graduação (2000), mestrado (2002) e doutorado (2006) em Física pela UFMG. Principais temas de investigação, teóricos e experimentais: óptica quântica, informação quântica e fundamentos de mecânica quântica.
